For
Professional Advisers seeking to better engage female clients through more inclusive, values led giving conversations.
Purpose
Develop practical skills to support meaningful conversations with female clients through inclusive advice.
Outcomes
Strengthen communication, build trust and confidently support female clients exploring structured giving opportunities.
Introduction
Supporting Female Clients with Their Giving is a practical workshop designed to help professional advisers better understand, engage and support one of the fastest growing and most influential client segments in Australia. As women continue to play an increasingly significant role in wealth creation, intergenerational wealth transfer and financial decision making, advisers have an opportunity to strengthen relationships by creating more inclusive and meaningful conversations around giving.
Drawing on behavioural insights, research and practical communication strategies, participants will explore the factors that commonly shape how many female clients engage with money, values and philanthropy. The workshop examines the motivations, priorities and barriers that may influence giving decisions, while providing practical techniques to adapt conversations in ways that foster trust, collaboration and confidence.
Importantly, this workshop is not about treating female clients differently or making assumptions about their goals or preferences. It is about recognising that every client brings a unique perspective and ensuring your communication approach creates the space for more thoughtful, values led discussions. By the end of the workshop, you will be better equipped to engage female clients in structured giving conversations, strengthen long-term relationships and support financial decisions that reflect both their values and the impact they want to create.
Objectives
You will develop a deeper understanding of the growing influence of women within Australia's wealth landscape and the factors shaping how many female clients approach money, philanthropy and financial decision making. This insight will help you engage clients with greater awareness while recognising the opportunities to build stronger, more meaningful relationships through values led advice.
A central focus of the workshop is understanding the motivations, priorities and barriers that may influence female clients when considering structured giving. You will explore how factors such as trust, collaboration, family involvement and confidence in financial decision making can shape conversations, allowing you to tailor your approach in ways that feel more relevant and supportive.
The workshop also introduces practical communication strategies and demonstrates how the SEED conversation framework can be adapted to better engage female clients. Rather than changing your advice process, the emphasis is on refining how you listen, ask questions, present options and create space for reflection, enabling conversations that feel inclusive, collaborative and client centered.
Ultimately, this workshop is about strengthening your capability as a trusted adviser.
